Qmusic heeft in week 38 de koppositie op de Nederlandse radiomarkt overgenomen van NPO Radio 2. Dat blijkt uit de luistercijfers van het Nationaal Media Onderzoek (NMO). Het marktaandeel van Qmusic steeg met 1,1 procentpunt.
De groei valt samen met de terugkeer van het radiospel ‘Het Geluid’, dat sinds vorige week weer op de zender te horen is. Ook Radio Veronica boekte winst. De zender, die tot en met afgelopen vrijdag de Top 3000 uitzond, zag het marktaandeel met 0,6 procentpunt toenemen. Radio 10 laat nog geen groei zien, ondanks de komst van het ochtendduo Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte en Jan Willem Roodbeen.
